Designer Profile

Lenore Boothby has worked as a Garden Designer for Barton Grange Landscapes since 2000. Her professional career started at a plant nursery in 1988 and from there she went on to study Horticulture at Askham Bryan College in York followed by a degree in Landscape Design at Manchester Metropolitan University. 

Since then she has worked in both the public and private sectors and began working as a full time garden designer in 1998.

H.N.D.  Landscape & Horticultural Technology - Credit - 1992
B.A.Hons Landscape Design - 2:i - 1996

She became a Full member of the Society of Garden Designers in November 2005.

The society of Garden Designers is the only professional body in the UK dedicated solely to garden design. (www.sgdorg.co.uk)

She has also been a member of the Mediterranean Garden Society for 9 years and has strong links to Greece.

In 2005 Lenore received an award from BALI for a contemporary garden.

Lenore’s unconventional style, combined with the client’s brief, produces gardens of great interest and appeal.
